From today’s federal budget announcement in Ottawa, the Conservatives announced that they will:

- introduce a temporary 100-per-cent capital cost allowance depreciation rate for computers purchased after today and before Feb. 1, 2011.

  1. I don’t know what these exactly means for a bloke like me, but I say, let’s go spend lots of $$ on a good computer & tell the gov. we did.

  2. I guess I should have said that this is for businesses. As a small business, I can claim money I spend and have it reduce my taxable income. Usually I can’t claim 100% of computers, but for now, it seems that I can! :)
